Barolo ArioneArione is a historically important Barolo cru, made up of a single vineyard covering 3.5 hectares within the Barolo area of Serralunga d'Alba. The dry calcareous clay soil does not permit the production of large quantities of grapes. Thanks to such low production and hand selection, Barolo Arione achieves an extraordinary concentration of fruit which is complemented by its intense dried herb, mineral and earth character. The wine ages for three years in wood barrels before release. Barolo Arione has a distinguished and delicate etherial bouquet and a rich, complex and smooth body. |
