The Azienda agricola Stefano Massone is a splendid property of 18 hectares of vineyards situated in the municipality of Capriata d’Orba, in the vicinity of Gavi. These vineyards are located in the Cortese doc zone, which allows for the production of the wine Gavi Vigneto Masera. Within the municipality of Gavi is the smaller Boschino vineyard which lends its name to the special cru of Gavi di Gavi doc. The winery is a modern structure conceived of specifically for the vinification of these white wines. All of the stages of production for both the grapes and the wines are personally controlled by Stefano Massone.

Vigneto Masera
This vineyard provides grapes for the majority of the winery’s Gavi production. It includes eight hectares of land entirely dedicated to the production of the varietal Cortese di Gavi. An ample grape variety, rich with perfumes and delicate aromas. Vinification takes place using the most modern technologies in order to guarantee the maximum extraction of fruit as well as the stability required for a wine destined for international distribution. It is characterized by an intense and delicate floral bouquet, a pleasingly dry taste with fruity nuances such as peach, pineapple and other exotic fruits. An ideal accompaniment for cold dishes and fish.

Vigneto Boschino
The name "Gavi di Gavi" refers to a wine which is entirely derived from grapes produced in the municipality of Gavi; the heart of the Cortese doc zone. Such is the case for this cru from Vigneto Boschino, almost two hectares of vineyards with optimal sun exposure. This wine has characteristics similar to those of Gavi Vigneto Masera, only more accentuated. It also has a slightly superior alcohol content, as well as a light almond backtaste. To underscore this wine’s uniqueness, it is packaged in an "elite" bottle with an artistic lable and is released in a limited quantity of approximately 8,000 bottles per year.
